We’ll then ride about 5kms to Dowie Doole Wines to enjoy a structured tasting of their Reserve Wines, then head back along the Shiraz Trail for a two course lunch & matched wine at Red Poles restaurant and a tour of their indigenous art gallery. After lunch we’ll ride about 6kms up to Willunga for a tour of this historic town that finishes with the Willunga Glass Studio, to see its beautiful glass sculptures. We’ll then take a beautiful ride through the foothills of McLaren Vale to see Battle of Bosworth Wines, a pioneer in organic vineyards, followed by one of the Vale’s most boutique producers in Samson Tall, for a tour of their winery and tasting of their beautiful single vineyard wines, with an afternoon platter of local cheeses. We finish with a short ride back to Primo Estate via Wirra Wirra’s famous Chook Block Vineyard.
Late afternoon we’ll finish the e-bike tour and head to the coast for a drive along a pristine Fleurieu Peninsula beach to see gulf views & spectacular biodiversity, followed by a journey around Myponga Dam and the coast that surrounds it.
At 6pm we finish the day by visiting a wild coast lookout at sunset at the Coastal Lodge, to enjoy a glass of sparkling wine, ocean views and kangaroo spotting.
