Full itinerary:

In the morning enjoy a Clan Room tasting at Torbreck Vintners. Torbreck has assembled some of the finest vineyards and growers in the region to make their ultra-premium wines. They source fruit from vines that date back as early as the 1850s and pay tribute to these vineyards with minimal intervention, creating wines of richness, structure and length that age gracefully.

In the afternoon we’ll head to the award winning Vintners Bar & Grill for a 2 course lunch, followed by a private estate experience in the Barossa with Phil Lehmann. This is a unique and exclusive experience where we visit Phil’s homestead and vineyard in Eden Valley for an immersive private experience. Lehmann, his wife Sarah and their two children reside on this vineyard, showcasing wine and olive oil from their property under the label Max & Me.

It is a beautiful property with 25 acres of vineyard, an olive grove and rolling pasture, plus an extremely diverse range of gum trees, including stunning river red gums that dot the property and dams, in some cases up to 600 years old. Phil has great international experience having completed vintages in Stellenbosch, Napa, Burgundy and of course the Barossa. He is currently making a small selection of elegant wines from his own vineyard, under his own label, Max & Me.

Take a drive around the vineyard with Phil, soak up the property and his story. The property is also a fantastic spot for wildlife with a wide array of birds, kangaroos, and the occasional deer. After a personal tour of the farm and vineyards with Phil, head up for a tasting on the veranda of the house. Phil will indulge you in his wines, as well as sharing his second passion with you - breadmaking. You will get to sample his bread and a selection of local cheeses alongside his wines. This is an opportunity to visit a celebrated winemaker in his own home, to learn his philosophy and try some very limited release wines.
