Full itinerary:

A private charter day tour that takes you behind the scenes of some of the best small producers & artisans in the valley. We'll start the day at the home of Dave Geyer, creator of the Geyer Wine Company, savouring a selection of wines that are breaking the norm in the Barossa and generating huge acclaim. You'll Meet Dave himself and learn his story as one of the new breed of Barossa winemakers, with his focus on natural wine production, the restoration of neglected vineyards and what he aptly terms the convergence of heritage & heresy!   

Next we'll visit a Barossa icon in Elderton Wines and experience a private masterclass of their wines in the dining room of their original homestead. With credentials including World’s Best Shiraz and Jimmy Watson fame, this experience is one of the most memorable on the tour.  

We'll then head off for lunch at Harvest Kitchen, where you'll enjoy their "Feed me like a Barossan" seasonal menu of classic local produce matched with a glass of Calabria Estate wine, looking out over the stunning vineyard vista down the valley.  

After lunch visit Seppeltsfield Road Distillers for a tasting of their award winning new gins, then pop in to Vasse Virgin Skin Care & Olive Oil Factory to see their range of natural skin care products. 

Late afternoon we'll stop at Krondorf Creek Farm to see their lovingly restored original 19th century buildings, including the smokehouse and now cellar door, to learn their story and taste their wines. Meet Barossa local Jess Greatwich, co-owner and custodian of Krondorf Creek Farm, who has  transformed this mixed-use farm into a wonderful cellar door, vineyard and legacy experience, with an amazing collection of history and memorabilia that charts the early Lutheran origins of Krondorf. Enjoy steeping yourself in this history, whilst enjoying a tasting of Krondorf Creek Wines in the old stone cellar door next to their vineyards.

Finish the day with a panoramic trip through a series of farm trails into Steingarten Vineyard, which stretches across 3.6 hectares of the Barossa Ranges. The name Steingarten translates to ‘stone garden’ and you’ll enjoy a glass of this most famous and highly limited riesling overlooking the Valley.
